Here’s your workout for Thursday:

Proverbs 3: 27 says “Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act.” (NIV)

Do you know you can impact others every day? Whether it is giving Mom a hand with the dishes, helping a sibling with homework, or giving the shy kid at school a smile and a hello, you have the power to act for good.  Paul tells us in Ephesians 2:10 that there are “good works which God had prepared in advance for us to do.” I remember when a friend called to say that she had been thinking about me and wanted to know if everything was ok.  I felt encouraged and loved. Think of a time when someone changed your day by doing something good. Share it with us, then pray and ask God what He has in mind for you today.  Let us know what you did for someone else.

Fitness tip: For an exercise that hits lots of muscles at once – try the pushup. Do them during commercials when you are watching TV. Make sure your form doesn’t slip. Keep your back and hips flat like a board. Your elbows should bend at a ninety degree angle. How many can you do?
