About

Hi, I’m Gayle—writer, athlete, wife, mom, and now grandmom. My mission? To write inspirational stories and creative nonfiction that encourage children to walk out their Christian faith.

My blog will challenge you to do the hard stuff. You know, the stuff you intend to do, but put off instead. Let’s walk together and press in to God.

Fun facts? I love adventure and a good book. I’ve hiked the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim, run five marathons, and read more books than I can count.

When I’m not writing, I’m working out—running, walking, and biking. My sanity break.

Or hanging with my family: my high school sweetheart, four grown kids plus two daughters-in-love, three granddaughters, and a huge Belgian Malinois. I’m a former Navy mom and a Baylor mom (Sic’em Bears!). My Mal is named Valor.

I’m currently writing children’s picture books, several preteen Bible studies, and my first novel (MG/YA). I offer writing workshops for students of all ages as well as writing and editing services. I’m also available to speak for retreats, conferences, and special events.

I recently finished my Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary.

I’ll see you on my blog page. I can’t wait to hear from you.

  1. Hi Gayle! Are you married to Russell? I worked for him at Novartis. I just came across your blog on Pinterest. How exciting! Great stuff. You look amazing. Tell your family hello!
